The Foundation is honored to recognize Lezli Roberts, director of philanthropy, for her 28 years of service upon retirement.

Our Foundation board is a committed group of 14 volunteer leaders who play a critical role in engaging our beloved community with the philanthropic visions of the medical center.

The event raised over $288,000 to assist Providence St. Mary Medical Center in expanding its comprehensive clinical education programs.

There was much to celebrate as we gathered for the fall 2022 Hanley & Glee Heikes Legacy Society Luncheon.

Youhanna Gad, M.D., a vascular and interventional radiologist, was initially drawn to surgery because he wanted to have an immediate impact on his patients.

Interventional Radiology is a leading force as physicians utilize advanced imaging support to guide a wide range of surgical procedures using needles and catheters.

With the support of our donor community, Providence St. Mary is supporting our nurses in advancing their careers by elevating their knowledge and skill levels. Each year, the Foundation offers the Frederick and Betty Lou Gross Scholarship to nurses for continuing their education.

Regina Weatherspoon-Bell was getting ready for the upcoming work week when she noticed her arm growing numb. Within minutes, her speech was affected. As her husband called 911, Regina began to pray as she realized she was having a stroke.

All of us at Providence St. Mary wish to express our sincere gratitude to Volunteer Services for their generous donation of $50,000!

Donors rarely get to meet those impacted by their generosity. For Christian and Peter, it was a heartwarming, full-circle experience.  The patient not only received a lifesaving gift, but he was able to thank the donor and express how he would pay it forward.
