He is a member of the Victor Valley Sunrise Rotary, Barstow Optimist Club, and Barstow Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as Board President of B.E.S.T. Opportunities, an organization that serves adults with disabilities.
Steve and his wife, Mary have three sons.
What motivates your desire to give back?
I enjoy being involved in our community and supporting the vision of leaders who want to do good for those in need.
Why are you supporting the medical center?
I first gave to support the Panda Warmers because my son needed one of those when he was born, so it was very personal to me. Since then, I have become more aware of the important role St. Mary plays in our community and want to see the hospital grow.
Why did you agree to join the foundation board?
I want to use my time, talent, and treasure to serve the needs of the hospital.
