We are impacting lives in Orange County everyday with the generous support of donors.

“Our experience at St. Mary’s was great. My son was very happy with his care, which is saying a lot considering he’s an RRT. He was thankful for the care he received.”
Striving for the Future
Providence St. Mary Medical Center is on the path to becoming a Level IV trauma center.
Unexpected traumatic injuries can upend and even threaten life. Providence St. Mary Medical Center is making a leap forward in improving care for our community by striving to become a Level IV trauma center.
The importance of a Level IV trauma center lies in its ability to provide advanced trauma life support and immediate care and stabilization so injured patients can be safely transported to comprehensive trauma centers (Levels I and II) when necessary. This critical step in the care continuum can make all the difference in the outcome of a traumatic injury.
“Level IV trauma centers play a crucial role in the health care ecosystem,” says Chief Executive Randy Castillo. “As a Level IV trauma center, Providence St. Mary will be better equipped to handle a wide range of trauma cases, enhancing our community’s safety and well-being.”
Partnering with the community
Our longstanding partnership with our community is the reason why we’re able to provide nationally recognized care. U.S. News & World Report named Providence St. Mary Medical Center number four in the Inland Empire for quality health care, placing it in the top 20 percent of California hospitals.
Donor support will be critical as we embark on our journey toward becoming a Level IV trauma center. When our community rallies around the hospital to support transformational initiatives, it ensures that the outstanding care we count on and expect is there when we need it.
“Supporting Providence St. Mary in our quest to become a Level IV trauma center means we are investing in our own safety and that of our loved ones,” says Nicole Orr, chief philanthropy officer. “It means providing a lifeline for those facing traumatic injuries, ensuring they receive the care they need when every minute counts.”
