Meet Venkat Devineni, M.D.
2022 Physician Champion Awardee
During his 24 years at Providence St. Mary Medical Center, Dr. Venkat Devineni has cared for hundreds of patients, often building close relationships that endure for years. He loves the High Desert for its small-town feel and the impact his work can have on the local community.
As the Medical Director of Cardiology at the medical center, Dr. Devineni has been an advocate for the Foundation’s various cardiac initiatives such as the recent electrophysiology lab. His leadership has been essential in creating a world-class cardiology department at Providence St. Mary. He has participated in multiple Foundation events, town halls and board meetings, creating personal connections to the community of loyal supporters.
