Meet John Yashou, D.O.
2022 Physician Champion Awardee
John Yashou, D.O., is an emergency medicine specialist at Providence St. Mary Medical Center whose leadership in creating more physician engagement has been essential to the Foundation team.
Besides being an advocate of philanthropy among medical staff, Dr. Yashou has connected multiple grateful patients to the Foundation when they have expressed interest in finding a way to say “thank you” for their care.
Dr. Yashou understands the impact philanthropy has on the community and has been a loyal supporter himself for many years. Recently, he and his wife hosted a donor event at their Apple Valley home to make deeper connections with the High Desert community.
