We are impacting lives in Orange County everyday with the generous support of donors.
“Our experience at St. Mary’s was great. My son was very happy with his care, which is saying a lot considering he’s an RRT. He was thankful for the care he received.”
Bringing Families Closer
Donor support connects patients with their tiniest loved ones
In our mission to provide a safe and nurturing environment for all patients, especially critically ill newborns, Providence St. Mary Medical Center has acquired the AngelEye NICU CameraSystem™ made possible by our generous donor community. This transformative addition to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) demonstrates the hospital’s commitment to both medical excellence and compassionate family-centered care.
The AngelEye NICU CameraSystem bridges the gap between families and their newborns undergoing critical care. Placed at the baby’s bedside, these state-of-the-art cameras allow loved ones to live-stream video of infants anywhere, anytime, on any device. Through a secure online portal, parents can watch over their little ones, receive updates from medical staff and leave video messages for their babies. This type of accessibility reduces stress and anxiety for parents, supports bonding with their child and facilitates better communication with caregivers.
Providence St. Mary recognizes that family is an essential part of the healing process and the AngelEye NICU CameraSystem ensures families remain together, no matter the distance. Welcoming a baby into the world is one of life’s greatest experiences and it’s our main priority to help newborns thrive during their early moments of life.
As the hospital introduces this new technology to patients, it does so with gratitude for the supporters who made this accomplishment possible through the transformative power of philanthropy. Their generosity has helped bring comfort, hope and strength to families during their most vulnerable moments. Providence St. Mary is blessed to have a loyal community of donors who embody our mission in caring for all.
